Sales Agents: How To Set Up And Edit Your Profile On CommissionCrowd

If you’ve joined us and have received your login details, that means your account is now live. So now it’s time to get you set up with a killer profile!

Setting up your profile is really easy and only takes a couple of minutes. So let’s get started! And remember, if you need help at any time you can reach us directly by clicking on this icon:

CommissionCrowd has been designed specifically for self-employed sales professionals and gives you everything you need to run your business, as well as making it really easy to connect and manage working relationships with great new companies when you're looking for lucrative new product lines/services to sell.

Our business model is to charge companies to use CommissionCrowd, so the good news is that sales agents get everything for free, no strings attached. Oh and we'll NEVER take anything from your commission earnings.

Ok, so lets get started...

The first thing you should do is create a killer profile that showcases you as an expert in your industry.

If it's your first time using CommissionCrowd you'll be presented with a number of easy steps to guide you through the setup process. You can refer back to these at any time here

Alternatively you can edit your profile by clicking on here and selecting edit profile from the dropdown menu. You should ensure that your profile is as comprehensive as possible to really showcase your expertise. Use the tool tips and video guides to help you through this process.

You'll see that we've given you a space to showcase your linecard. If you have existing product lines and/or services that you currently represent, you can showcase them here. Your line card helps companies to better understand the industries and type of businesses you currently sell into. It's absolutely fine if you don't want to display logos of companies that you currently work with but you should use this space to provide exampes of products or services that may compliment new opportunities you are looking for.

Once your profile is complete, you can now do one of two things:

Either start using CommissionCrowd to manage your own business straight away, or look for companies to connect with and start adding new product lines and services to your sales portfolio.

To start using CommissionCrowd to manage your existing business right away, simply go to the 'leads' tab and choose to import your existing leads or create a new one. Alternatively just go to the 'quick add' tab and create a new lead. CREATE ONE...

Your leads will now appear in your sales pipeline and there are a whole load of amazing things you can now do within a lead - but all that will be covered in another video which you'll find in our video guides tab.

Next, import your contacts. We make importing your existing contacts easy and you also notice that you can do some pretty cool things within each contact, like keeping notes, click to email and even click to call which is a feature we will be releasing soon.

We also provide a place for you to host and access important files quickly and easily, you have a calendar and all of the usual bits n pieces you need to run an efficient business.

To connect with companies and find exciting new product lines and services you simply click on this tab here and find the types of companies you are looking for. You can click into an opportunity to view more details, chat with the company and apply to express your interest in working with this company.

I'll go into detail about connecting with companies and managing your working relationships in another more in-depth video which I will link to under this video or you will find in the video guide resources.

And that's it, your ready to find great opportunities, manage your business and remote working relationships, save time, work more efficiently and increase productivity!
