Qn. Where did the inspiration for Secure Swiss Data come from?
David - So we first started thinking about privacy and data security while looking at the challenges we face and the gaps in the tech industry.

The Prism fiasco with Edward Snowden really kicked off a debate in the US and honestly, across the world. Do you really own everything you put up online? Should the government have this sort of access?

We explored those questions and even wrote a white paper on what we found. We think businesses are right to be worried about security and they need to take a closer look at their online services. That's where Secure Swiss Data was born. To provide a safe a secure service before the world knew it needed it.

Qn. Tell us a little about the data protection Industry

David - We’ve come a long way in terms of people understanding the need for privacy and the tools they are willing to invest in.

A few decades ago everyone was trying wrap their head around the new data superhighway we’d created and now people see the need for protection.

What we offer is simply a way to encrypt all your communications and files so that only the people who you intend to use the data can use it.

Qn. Please tell independent sales agents about the potential commission earnings available working with you

David - We have the infrastructure to support multiple corporate accounts with thousands to tens of thousands of users per company.

Our productivity suite sells for $9.95 per user of which we would be paying a commission monthly and ongoing for the life of the sale of $1.25.

All it takes is landing a couple of large contracts to earn significant recurring commissions with our independent sales opportunity.

They keep finding new ways to breach data privacy and we will continue our efforts to come up with innovative ways to counteract them at every step. Compliance around the world are also taking some key steps to help the industry, which we think is vital.

Qn. What are your best selling services?

David - Our best would have to be our Productivity Suite which includes Encrypted Email, 8Gb of storage, Files & Sharing, Tasks & Notes, Calendar & Scheduling and Contacts Management features.

Our clients can even use their own personal domain if they so choose. All data is stored exclusively in Switzerland, of course, and is protected by a unique combination of terms of services, law, operational principles and technology.

Qn. What are the downsides to not using encrypted communication services?

David - Basically, there are two key issues with using free services that are not encrypted - your data is on sale to the highest bidder and you have no control over where it gets used.

Secondly, technology is at a stage now that your every move and every penny spent is tracked and can be compromised instantly if you’re attacked by a sophisticated hacker.

Qn. Have you received any recognition for your products?

David - Our launch at CeBIT came at the perfect time, really. We got a ton of very positive press coverage there and a number of major security firms starting taking notice of what we were offering after the CeBIT organisers wrote an article on us. Since then we've had a great response from some very reputed companies.

Qn. How do you currently bring in new business or win contracts?

David - We network in business circles, send out informational reports to help IT managers and CEO’s with the responsibilities that they have to satisfy industry compliance.
